OUR STORY

With a shared passion for food, hospitality and community connection, owners and sweethearts Aanjes and Hollis Hershfield draw inspiration from a life spent eating, living, and adventuring across the country and beyond.

 

Aanjes spent much of her childhood in the Caribbean, where vibrant markets, bold flavors, and the rhythm of gathering around food made a lasting impression. Hollis grew up on a hippy commune, where everything was home made, community-driven, and rooted in intention — a philosophy that still shapes how he approaches food today.

 

Together, In August of  2019, they created Devour as an expression of all those influences: globally inspired yet deeply local, playful but thoughtful, and always rooted in genuine care. Devour is more than an eatery — it’s a love letter to craft, creativity, and community!
